PCL Image Input and Conversion

Newton, MA (November 22, 2001) – Snowbound Software Corporation, the leading provider of powerful, fast and reliable imaging software, today announced the addition of HP PCL format support (PCL). This new enhancement is available as an option to the RasterMaster 10.0 CM Imaging SDK.

The product permits developers to create applications that can import and display images created for printing to HP printing devices.  PCL is a very popular format for the printing and archiving of documents.

Viewers and batch conversion programs are available as well.  These programs can accept more than 70 image formats, manipulate those images and then output them to over 30 different formats. Check with Snowbound for Java and web support for reading this image type.
