Newton, MA (May 25, 2002) – Snowbound Software Corporation today announced the release of a new version of its RasterMaster imaging technology that updates its support for IBM's ImagePlus Document Imaging product line. Available now for both Windows and Unix and for Java, greatly enhanced support is provided for AFP type documents.

AFP documents are generated by IBM's document management systems in a unique, proprietary format.  They are complex document types fitting in IBM's MO:DCA document family and are extensively used by IBM shops including Insurance, Banking, and Financial institutions.

Snowbound has invested heavily in providing support for these documents for the many customers who desire alternative choices for their document manipulation systems. By offering MO:DCA AFP support for both Java and Windows and Unix Snowbound allows its customers to create imaging applications supporting almost any environment including Windows, IBM/AIX, AS/400, IBM mainframes and OS/2.
