New York, NY  BOOTH #1661 (March 8, 2004) — Snowbound Software Corporation, the leader in performance-driven imaging solutions, today announced the release of FlexSnap™ 7.0, the company’s configurable viewer for the Java™ platform. Snowbound will be demonstrating FlexSnap today through Wednesday, during the AIIM 2004 Conference and Exposition in New York.

FlexSnap is a flexible imaging applet that enables users to display and manipulate over 40 specialized document and image formats right in a Web browser. FlexSnap is unique not only in that it can read Adobe Acrobat PDF, Group 4, IBM ImagePlus MO:DCA (AFP, IOCA, MMR, PTOCA), JBIG, JPEG and TIFF documents, among others, but customers can also configure the applet’s features and functions with minimal engineering effort.

FlexSnap customers can easily enable or disable any icon or menu item, including the ability to create, view or edit annotations, and activate or deactivate thumbnails. Designed to operate as either a floating applet or embedded within an HTML page, FlexSnap can stand alone or work with a servlet, efficiently handling large documents by sending one page at a time. For greater security, images can be streamed directly to FlexSnap without local hard disk caching.
