Las Vegas, NV (BAI TransPay #237 May 18, 2004) – Snowbound Software, a premier provider of performance-driven imaging solutions,  today announced it will be demonstrating its support of the X9.90 substitute check format related to Check 21 check truncation legislation. The X9.90 format is used to create physical documents from IRDs, if required.

Snowbound has committed to supporting the specification for the X9.90 format from draft form through to final specification.  The format is offered in its entire line of products including its RasterMaster Imaging SDK's and Libraries for Windows, Unix and Java, its SnowBatch batch conversion tools, and its Java web imaging solutions.  Enhancement and configuration services will be provided for Snowbound customers as well.

Snowbound will be demonstrating its X9.90 add-on option to the RasterMaster Extended for Windows Imaging SDK 13.0.  This product permits the integration and merging of individual check data including MICR Line information plus the check image into the X9.90 format.  The final output can be saved as a TIFF, PNG, or JPEG. Format permitting, check data can also be stored as metadata within the image file.   Display and annotation of such images is also included in the product.

With minimal engineering effort, customers can develop viewers and conversion applications utilizing RasterMaster to create and view these check images. Included in RasterMaster are functions such as magnify, pan, scroll, deskew, annotation, and much more.
