RasterMaster™ 8.0 for the Java™ Platform Released
Snowbound recently released the latest version of its Java imaging SDK and Library. Notable enhancements and options include support for multiprocessor and multithreaded applications, enhanced color reduction functions, improved annotation features including adding support for the Kodak/Wang format, X9.90 Check 21 format support, and text extraction from MO:DCA AFP documents. Additional capabilities include JBIG, PCL and HP-GL/2 (HPGL2) reading support, PDF and MO:DCA PTOCA text extraction capability, TIFF tag setting, automatic red eye removal in photos and much more.
