Snowbound's configurable web viewer for Java just got a whole lot more powerful.
Snowbound introduces FlexSnap 8.3, an enhanced version of our configurable web image and document viewer. Still written in Java and completely portable, we’ve added features to further improve the user experience:
- International language support for menus and dialogs
- Improved, resizable magnifier
- Shortcut Keys for zooming (+ and -)
- Sticky Buttons that indicate the active tool
- Disabled Buttons to indicate disabled operations
- A tool-tip' + ' bar that gives a descr' + 'iption of each button as you mouse over it
- "Pan" Button
- "Fit-to-window" button
- "Crop" menu function
FlexSnap is a truly flexible imaging applet that enables users to display and manipulate over 40 specialized document and image formats right in a Web browser. FlexSnap is easily configurable to enable or disable any icon or menu item, to control the ability to create, view or edit annotations, to customize file selection methods, and numerous other functions with minimal engineering effort. FlexSnap can stand alone or work with a servlet, including Snowbound’s SnapServ imaging system or other server component, permitting image and document processing either on a server or locally.
