Snowbound Software Enhances Its .Net Imaging Toolkit with Extended Format Support and Text Extraction Capabilities

Snowbound Software adds optional support for MS Word, PCL, and PDF for its RasterMaster Imaging toolkit for .NET

Watertown, MA (April 14, 2005) –  Snowbound Software, a leading provider of performance-driven imaging solutions, today announced improvements for its award-winning RasterMaster .NET Imaging SDK. Enhancements to the toolkit and library include MS Word format support, text extraction functions, and improved ease of use through the addition of extensive samples.

The Library has been extended to include support for Microsoft Word, PCL, and PDF in addition to the current 100+ formats supported. Functionality has also been added to perform extraction of text and formatting data from Microsoft Word, AFP, PDF, and PCL files.

The RasterMaster for .NET Imaging SDK is designed to fully integrate with Microsoft’s Visual Studio for .NET. The easy-to-use API enables developers to quickly create .NET applications that import, display, convert and save images and documents within the .NET client/server environment. In addition, developers can effortlessly evaluate and test the functionality of the toolkit, as well as speed their programming efforts, by using the extensive samples that have been added. Comprehensive samples are provided for programming in C#, Visual Basic, .NET, and ASP .NET.
