Watertown, MA (September 20, 2005) – Snowbound Software, a leading provider of performance-driven imaging solutions, enhances its award-winning RasterMaster Imaging SDK for .NET with sophisticated annotation capabilities and support for Twain scanning.  This permits applications to be written that offer redlining and redaction and that can interface to many popular scanners. 

The .NET Library supports annotation layers that can store a variety of annotation objects. Annotation capabilities include redlining, commenting, redacting, rubber stamps, and more. The annotation layers work seamlessly with other functions within RasterMaster including zooming and scrolling of the overall display without affecting the positioning of annotation layers. This addition provides important functionality to support collaborative document workflows.

The Twain scanning function provides compatibility with most popular scanners and allows captured images to be archived in defined files or directories. It supports both single page and duplex scanning as well as black and white, color, and grayscale documents. Additional samples in both C# and Visual Basic have also been included for both the scanning and annotation functions.
