Looking Back on 2005
With the end of the year fast approaching, we wanted to take a moment to express our appreciation to all of our customers, prospects, and partners. Your invaluable feedback, questions, and recommendations help to drive our products. This year Snowbound has produced some incredible innovations that impact how you, our customers, are able to interact with documents and images.
Some of our major milestones in 2005 included:
- Release of RasterMaster 14.0 for Windows Imaging SDK (DLL, ActiveX, and .NET), UNIX, and Macintosh as well as RasterMaster 9.0 for Java Imaging SDK. This release included a number of additional formats and functionality.
- Enhancement of our MS Word option to allow viewing and converting Word documents in both our RasterMaster and FlexSnap products.
- GSA approval for all our products, making it easier for government customers to purchase our toolkits and viewers.
- We received EMC “Designed for Documentum” certification for our FlexSnap: SI, a front-end, universal viewer that integrates with Webtop and other WDK applications to deliver high-speed viewing and allows users to annotate, manipulate, convert, and print multiple file and image formats. Watch our Flash demonstration to experience FlexSnap’s benefits.
- Release of an API for FlexSnap: SI that enables solution providers to integrate our FlexSnap: SI viewer with any ECM or document repository. End users are then able to handle documents and images through one powerful application.
These are just a few of our major accomplishments. You can read about more of our activities during 2005 by visiting our News Archive. We want to thank you for your patronage and input that have made some of these enhancements possible. We couldn't have made such progress without you. The upcoming year promises to be just as exciting and we know you'll be thrilled with what we have in store for 2006.
On behalf of everyone here at Snowbound Software, I wish you a very happy holiday season and wonderful New Year.
