Watertown, MA (May 30, 2006) – Snowbound Software, a leading provider of performance-driven imaging solutions, today announced its RasterMaster Windows Imaging SDK (DLL, ActiveX, and .NET) and UNIX will be available in early June. Notable enhancements include reading support for MS Excel, improvements to Word and PDF, text searching and term-hit highlighting.
With the addition of text searching and term-hit highlighting for PDF, Word, Excel, AFP, and PCL, companies are now able to support these popular business formats without relying on the creator application such as Microsoft Office or Adobe Acrobat. Additional enhancements include support for static HTML, the ability to map user defined fonts when rendering AFP/MODCA files, and reading support for FileNet annotations.
RasterMaster is Snowbound’s flagship Imaging SDK and Library that provides automated document imaging functions in order to decrease application development time while providing expert functionality and features.
