Snowbound Wins “Best Computer Software Online Newsletter” Award

Watertown, MA (March 28, 2007) – Snowbound Software, a leading provider of powerful, flexible, and reliable imaging technology, received the honor of “Best Computer Software Online Newsletter” from the Web Marketing Association’s (WMA) 5th Annual Internet Advertising Competition (IAC). The IAC Awards honor excellence in online advertising, recognize the individuals and organizations responsible, and showcase award-winning Internet advertising.

Snowbound Software’s Imaging News is a monthly newsletter that delivers an insightful feature article on the various aspects of document imaging. These articles provide useful information on document viewing, conversion, or workflow technology for companies seeking to improve workflow, compliance, accessibility and archival capabilities while lowering operating costs. The newsletter was redesigned in 2005 in both content and creative direction to correspond with the company’s website.  Snowbound shifted content focus from communicating product specific information to delivering thought leadership articles that discuss trends, issues, and technology.

The entries were scored on six criteria, including creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting, and use of the medium.  Winners were selected based on a combination of the judging criteria as well as the head-to-head comparison with other entries within their specific category.
