Snowbound Software Unveils FlexSnap .NET Viewer and Document Processing Application at AIIM 2007

Watertown, MA (April 16, 2007) – Snowbound Software, a leading provider of powerful, flexible, and reliable imaging technology, will be demonstrating a new .NET version of its industry-leading FlexSnap document processing application in Booth 3123 at the AIIM OnDemand 2007 Conference in Boston, April 17-19.

FlexSnap provides users with high-speed viewing capabilities to enable fast and secure retrieval, navigation, manipulation, and annotation of stored documents and images within repositories through a single lightweight application. It supports a wide variety of formats including AFP, ABIC, JPEG, MO:DCA, MS WORD, PCL, PDF, TIFF, and many more, eliminating the time and expense of invoking the creator application. It is a powerful and flexible solution that can be easily integrated with a wide variety of ECM systems and file repositories.

The .NET versions of FlexSnap include both a client-only application as well as a client/server component.  The initial release of the client/server combination will provide a .NET viewer for the client-side integrated with a Java servlet.  A slightly later release will offer a pure .NET version for both the client and server side.   By offering these alternatives, customers will have the flexibility to choose the most suitable platform for both the client and server, thereby obtaining the greatest functionality and performance.
