Snowbound Software Adds More Productivity Features to FlexSnap

Expanded Document Handling Capabilities Benefit End-users

Watertown, MA (Jan. 31, 2007) — Snowbound Software, a leading provider of powerful, flexible, and reliable imaging technology, has announced several new features to FlexSnap: SI, a powerful document viewer with server integration.  These features provide more methods to customize users’ experiences to meet their unique needs. Because of its ability to tightly integrate with content repositories and other applications, FlexSnap allows companies to provide a single front-end application to users for all document processing workflows. This provides superior document handling functionality enabling end-users to quickly complete document processing activities such as page manipulation, search, and high-speed viewing.

Already the leading document viewing application for content management systems, FlexSnap: SI was expanded to relieve bottlenecks in document workflows.  New page manipulation functionality tops the list of enhancements to the latest release of SI.  Encouraged by customers quickly embracing the ability to re-order pages within documents and copy pages from external documents, Snowbound has expanded these functions for maximum flexibility.  Users now have the ability to copy or move pages within a single document, to existing documents, or to create a new document without opening the creator application.

Additional FlexSnap: SI enhancements include:

• Power Search – An advanced search mode that allows users to define their search by page range, group search results by page, and perform case sensitive searches.
• High-Quality Reload – Administrators can control bandwidth usage by configuring FlexSnap to deliver smaller black-and-white images as the default but allow users to reload documents to retrieve high resolution color images as necessary.
• Cover Page – Automatically include a cover page when documents are printed.  Cover pages can be customized to include letterhead, date, document name and more.
