Software Engineer
Exciting opportunity in leading edge Java development with the world's leader in Java imaging. We are looking for professional, skilled candidates to fill the following positions (senior level positions also available for candidates with imaging experience). You will be responsible for:
- Development of imaging tools or applications including SDK's, EJB's, applets, servlets, and plug-ins
- Researching and coding new imaging formats
- Writing code samples
- Speaking directly with customers and prospects as you help define problems
- Bug fixes and higher level problem resolution
- Assist with writing documentation
- Competitive product analysis
- Suggesting and developing new products
Experience/Skills Required:
- A good working knowledge of two of the following computer languages and environments: Java and C#, Visual Basic, Delphi, MS Visual C++ required
- Web (server/client) experience (XML, Java, HTML) a plus
- Imaging and or graphics experience preferred
- 0-5 years software experience
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential
- Experience with the .NET Framework, Imaging SDKs, viewers and conversion software a plus
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Desired Education: A degree (BS or BE) in computer science or related field is preferred.
