Manager of Software Support & Quality Assurance
We have an exciting opportunity in a rapidly growing engineering software company with world-wide Global 2000 customers and partners. Our products include leading edge imaging and document management tools and viewers.
We need a hands-on manager who can establish and maintain relationships with customers, software development, and sales staff to both receive customer problems and get them solved, and to test our products to insure they meet our exacting organizational standards.
With respect to QA, your department will be responsible for creating and testing product builds, product enhancements and installation procedures. Your team will ensure that our final product versions have passed our comprehensive and extensive test suites.
With respect to Customer Support, you will manage a support staff that works with development and sales engineers to receive, review and track customer issues toward resolution.
Experience/Skills Required:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-8 years of experience in the field including 2-3 years management experience.
- Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures is expected.
- Must be able to directly converse with customers from around the world in order to understand their needs and monitor resolution of their issues.
- Leads and directs the work of others.
- Very good organizational and management skills required.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
