SAPCON Project Manager, Petr Ciganek said, “We recently migrated documents of Penzijni fond Ceske sporitelny to the Documentum platform. Keeping track of their customers requires them to scan large volumes of documents into the Documentum system. As the files are scanned the metadata associated with the file, such as the contract number, is extracted and added to the database.   SAPCON embedded Snowbound Software’s FlexSnap application into the Documentum Webtop client, so when users need to view a TIFF document, the applet opens from within Documentum and displays the document seamlessly.”

Ciganek continues, “We reviewed several viewing solutions, but because FlexSnap can reside on the server, it was noticeably faster, making our solution—and the pension fund’s workflow—more efficient. Now FlexSnap enables users to access and instantly open and view documents directly in an Explorer window without having to wait to download them from the content server.”
