New Features — RasterMaster for Java v.12

Snowbound released Version 12 of RasterMaster for the Java platform in June ‘08. The following features are included in the release:
- Multiple enhancements and bug fixes to the MS Word file format.*
- Multiple enhancements and bug fixes to the PDF file format.*
- Multiple enhancement to the PCL file format.*
- Ability to allocate memory when saving to a byte array. Provides the ability to not know or guess the final size of the compressed image or document.
- Support for color and grayscale PCL output. *
- Support for PDF page extraction and appending.
- Improved the extraction of TIFF documents resulting in speed improvements for viewing. Greatly increases the performance when saving by as much as 30 times faster.
- Ability to allow multi-page saving to memory.
- Ability to split pages in MS Excel.
- Ability to allow fast AFP decompression for multi-page images.
- Ability to map fonts for the MODCA and AFP file format.
- Support for auto-orient and auto-crop functions.
- Ability to allow 8-bit grayscale rendering.
