Snowbound released Version 15 in June ‘06. These feature enhancements are included in our RasterMaster™ Imaging SDK for Windows (DLL, ActiveX, and .Net).
- Reading support for Excel file format.*
- Reading support for static HTML. Supported HTML tags include: embedded style sheets, rulers, titles, tables, headings, lists, text, special characters, and paragraphs.*
- Additional enhancements for HTML support, including embedded images, is ongoing.
- Text extraction added for PDF, PCL, Word, Excel, AFP and PowerPoint.* (Text extraction for PowerPoint is currently in development and scheduled to be released in 2006 Q3. All other formats listed above are currently available.)
- Term hit and highlighting added for PDF, PCL, Word, Excel, AFP, HTML and PowerPoint.* (Term hit and highlighting for Power Point is currently in development and scheduled to be released in 2006 Q3. All other formats listed above are currently available.)
- Ability to render from black and white any PCL, Word, Excel, AFP, and PowerPoint document to any DPI. Color PCL, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents also supported.* (Rendering for Power Point is currently in development and scheduled to be released in 2006 Q3. - Ability to map user defined fonts in rendering AFP/MODCA file format.*
- Multiple enhancements for PDF file format reading.*
- Ability to read the header and footer in Word documents.*

- Support for PDF saving with JBIG2 compression.*
